WSE wallet – week 19/09/2016 – 25/09/2016

During the week 19/09/2016 – 25/09/2016, the value of carefully selected stocks went down -0.97% versus WIG20 return +1.63% and WIG +1.48%. Apart from that, the Polish currency PLN has appreciated in value vis-à-vis GBP, USD and EUR. It can be a result of the fact that foreign investors have noticed a good time to invest in Polish stocks – usually they start with big companies from WIG20 index. I am not surprised – please see the chart below. Polish stock market seems to have a 10-year real expected return at about 11%, which is slightly less than Russian stock market which is considered to be a quite risky market to invest in.
